LEVELING SYSTEM Whether your character is an Exorcist, Akuma, or Noah; leveling works the same way. We go by a point system here, with points earned for each IC post and mission completed. By racking up enough points, your character will gain a level.
LEVEL ONE: 0 points; one special ability unlocked.
*LEVEL TWO: 100 points; three special abilities unlocked.
LEVEL THREE: 200 points; four special abilities unlocked.
LEVEL FOUR: 400 points; five special abilities unlocked.
Beginning at level two, Equipment type Innocence can morph into Crystal type but the cost is 50 points extra (150 points). From then on, each level upgrade costs an additional 30 points. Read more on the Crystal types in the Innocence thread,
here.
At level four, Exorcists will reach 100% sync rate, becoming Critical Breakers and -- if they're over twenty-years-old -- Generals. Noahs will reach their full Noah Form.
* Player-character Akuma always start at level two, since level one Akuma have no personality or free will. However, Akuma start off with two abilities, not three.
....................................................................
Exorcists Each time an Exorcist levels, their weapon will change in appearance. It will remain the same basic weapon, but colors, shape, and additional details may be added, changed, or completely erased.
Akuma Each time an Akuma levels, their overall appearance changes, drastically. While level one Akuma are all the same bulbous looking machines, at level two they become much more unique looking. As they continue to level, their appearance becomes more and more humanoid. Their outer skin remains the same through each level, mind you.
Noah Noah do no change appearance when they level. The only hint that they've leveled is that they have more abilities. At level four, however, their full form is unlocked, giving them a whole new appearance when they choose to go into Noah form. This appearance resembles a full body armor.
